“Days in my Life” is my first visual zine published by Curious Publishing. The best way to describe this zine is to imagine 80’s and 90’s Mexican and American pop culture thrown into a blender and splattered across a canvas Glee-style. It shows what it was like for a queer boy in the early 00’s to live in a Latinx community (Lennox, CA) surrounded by the remnants of the 80’s and 90’s because it couldn’t afford to “modernize”. The zine features one poem, exclusive to this zine, and 20 full color pages (and some more surprises!) It is also my first square zine and my largest zine thus far (7x7 in.)
